Took my MONEY didn't delivered the service asking to file Defamation!

A company asked me to pay an Amount & Promised me to guaranteed scehedule Interview sessions with top MNCs on Phone calls, I paid & enrolled for the service which was told in call as employment opportunity, I enrolled then joined the first live session, They denied to provide any interviews & began to offer some pre-recorded lectures, , I asked for employment opportunitiy, All being ignored, I said"we are being fooled" They denied to provide me any service & threaten to file Defamation case .

seems to be a fraudulent activity. file a complaint of cheating with the nearest police station of your area. if the police does not take any action approach the court of the magistrate for registration of an FIR should you have any questions please feel free to contact me

First of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either pay my money or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if they fail to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your money back along with compensations.

You can file a criminal case as well as a civil suit. The criminal case can be for cheating and criminal intimidation. In a civil suit, you can pray before the court to grant you the amount of money which you have paid along with compensation for the harassment caused to you.
