You can always serve the opposite party a legal notice and in that notice you can write down your difficulty to provide him the loan amount and also tell them that you are not denying to pay off the loan amount but want some time to clear off the same. This will prove to be important if he files some fake complaint against you. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
Since you have already repaid 12.5 lakh out of 15 lakh, the matter appears to be primarily a civil dispute for recovery of the remaining 2.5 lakh. The additional 3 lakh interest can be claimed only according to the agreed terms and available proof. A complaint or recovery case will not automatically affect your employment. However, if any cheque issued by you is dishonoured, the lender may initiate separate cheque-bounce proceedings.
Sir, firstly only filing complaint is not suffice to initiate action against any person. Secondly, there are stages added by BNSS that enables the accused to have the case be terminated at its threshold. Lastly, it is necessary and strongly advisable to take action as early as possible before that person took further recourse as best defense is attack first. For precise advice proper analysis of your case is pre requisite.
you can enter into a settlement agreement with the lender for payment in installments.
usually such cases do not involve any criminal allegations so it is unlikely to affect your job.
ask him for a statement of how interest has been calculated and tally it with the interest agreed upon between the parties.
