room agreement related if i am not able to return money given to me.

Sir, I am a owner of house in mumbai, ghatkopar. 10months ago i was taken a money from a tenent of rs 2lacs and promise him that i will give him a room for living but due to some reason i wasn't able tio give it room and money both in return. later 6months agio i made a agreement with him that i will give you rs 7000 per month untill i will not able to give you 2lacs.so its a agrrement but in the month of march i failed to givre him rs7000as per agrrement and now he is threaten me so what can he will able to do and what options are for me. pls suggst.

since he is residing in the premises without any leave & license agreement, you are entitled to get the money but since you have failed to adhere to the terms and conditions of the agreement for payment of 7000, he may send you a legal notice to which you should reply and buy some time so that he does not initiate any court proceedings against you.
