Remedy if one is not in a position to pay back loan amount

We took 30 lakhs money from some people in my town but now my family position is very bad and we dont have any own properties, we want to pay that persons but we want time they are giving huge pressure, will you please give solution to this?
In this case you can request them to give you some time. You need to look upon that how did they give you money, was that based on some property or trust or anything else. You can have a mutual agreement made and ask them to give you time and you shall pay the amount on EMI bases, you have no other option then asking for time to repay the amount.
