Regarding not refunding my caution deposit

So i vacated my college hostel IIC lakshya on 5th june 2025 usually they refund between 2 weeks but they havent refunded mine after 3 weeks. When contacted after several calls and texts they gave assurance that the refund will be credited within 7days. Even after that the refund hasnt been processed. Guide me through the steps to initate refund and if any damages if possible

File a case for recovery of money in consumer court. If you have the bill you can recover the money. Please call me for consultation. You can file for compensation, return of money, advocate charges, etc. You have good chance of winning the case.
