Query of original chain of document

I have a query regarding education loans through collateral from the bank. I want to know whether the bank asks for all the original chain documents of the property after taking the loan from them or if we just need to submit the original registry.
If you mortgage your property and on which you get the loan amount. then bank/nbfc will ask you for that property documents and by which they will make a Title Search Report by their lawyer. to ensure that borrower is owner of property and no litigation left and property in not mortgaged to any other bank. and after the positive report in Title Search Report they will disburse the loan.
