Promised to return money in part but friends blackmailing me

Hi, I have to give some money to my friend and i have been giving them in parts there are some discripencies and the money deal was not documented , only facebook and whatsapp chats are there, he has been blackmailing me that he will either tell it to my parents or complaint in a police station what should i do
