Procedure to file a recovery case if address not present

I gave money to a person saying to give back in one year but now he switchedoff his mobile. I dont know his address .how can I file a case on him?
Hello Sir,
No body can help you without knowing the address of party. So first you find out his address. Now question is how? 1). First find out his mobile operator i.e., Airtel or Vodafone etc.,, then go to said office and make a request letter to give his copy of residential proof or to give residential address of said mobile number. Becoz all the subscriber must file their residential proof before obtaining the sim card. 2) Then find out address and whether he is still staying in said address or not. If he available in said address, we can file civil suit against him for recovery of money. Else go to police station of your jurisdiction and lodge criminal complaint against the said person stating the said person cheated you by taking money and promised to pay within one year and thereafter he was absconded and you unable find out his address. So police can easily traceout with his mobile number. For further clarification or lodging of complaint you can contact me.
