Payment Recovery + Cheating (IPC 406/420)

05-Feb-2026 (In Recovery Law)
I need legal assistance to recover my pending payment of approximately ₹2–3 lakhs from a vendor, unpaid since 2021. I worked with the vendor during my employment with Kerry on mutual trust. The vendor received payments but failed to release my share, gave repeated assurances, and later blocked all communication. A 72-hour written deadline will expire on coming sat. I seek legal notice and action under IPC 406/420. Proofs available.

Hi, the deadline can always be extended. It’s not like it was as per any law. You have the deadline at your own. As for recovery, basis the documents as well as proof/evidences available, you can file a civil suit for recovery before court of appropriate jurisdiction. A summary suit may also be filed which might help in speedy recovery, though it’s not assured.
