Other party ready for settlement it won't cause trouble in future?

18-Feb-2023 (In Recovery Law)

A person has put a case on money matter. Person says that I have taken XYZ amount from him but I haven't taken any amount from him. Infact he had taken the amount from me. He said he will pull back the case on trial day , so I didn't appear in court. It turned out to be "Exparte" case and he won. Now he is ready to do settlement for free. Is settlement for free possible? And if it's possible then it won't cause any trouble in future?

Yes you will need to file a compromise before the court to obtain a decree by compromise. Do ensure that the entire facts of the case are stated in the compromise that is recorded. Further, based on such compromise file a stay for any execution proceedings. Feel free to get in touch with the LawRato team at 9599-000-555 for further assistance.
