Ordered a device from a company worth 2.55Lakhs in Jan 22. No refund

I order a device from a company named Mining Buddys worth 255000 in Jan 2022. Delivery was expected in april but due to import issues they declared that they will give refund. There were around 500 people who ordered the device. After delaying too many times they refunded many people but till now 13 people are still left for refund including me. They started ignoring calls and no revert from them. I sent a notice through a known lawyer on their email in Oct 2022 but no revert. Please help

You should also serve them a legal notice through courier so that there is a receipt that proves it is delivered to the addressee. And if there is no such satisfactory reply from the opposite party then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your money back along with interest and compensations and also litigation changes.

You can go for a civil recovery case, commercial court case and can also file a police complaint against them. My suggestion is to go to the commercial court as it will give you easy and prompt relief.

you have to proceed as per the notice. in the alternative you can also file a complaint of cheating. for recovering of money is civil suit for recovery can also be filed. should you have any queries please feel free to contact me

I think this is a mumbaj based company, I have two other clients who were cheated by this mining buddy. you will have to file a case for recovery of money in the court. you also have the option of pressing for a criminal case. I would recommend you go for record of money. I have already filed two cases and they are pending in the court.
