Non payment of amount taken on some house settlement by my own brother

Sir i had given 3 lakhs to my own brother in the month of sep 15. For which i had taken a promissory note in written from him. Another one lakh was given in the month of dec 15 . The total 4 lakhs were given to him. Recently we had a little personnel dispute it was just common quarrel among us for other silly reason. Now he is threatening me that " i will never give your 4 lakhs!!, who are you?? Fwhen you are given that money??" he is very serious about it and he was beated me for asking my amount. Till now he is harrasing me and blackmiling me. I want an advice from your for what to do?
First, you should file a complaint with the local police station detailing these incidents and for having an FIR registered on the grounds of criminal intimidation, cheating, criminal breach of trust, assault, extortion etc. Second, for the amounts you will can file a summary suit which is an expedited proceedings for recovery of the amounts.
