Need legal advise regarding money recovery from a person who took approx 9 lacs via cheques 10-15 years back and now not returning. Details taken from my bank doesn't show to whom the cheques were cleared to but only the details of amount being sent to someone. Will it be possible to recover bank statements of the guilty via court order in order to prove that cheques were cleared in his account. The accused here is a family member (mother's brother....Mama). What would be the options?

First of all you need to serve them a compulsory legal notice and in that notice you have to write either refund my money back along with compensation or face legal action. And then also he/she refuses to return the money then a recovery suit is maintainable against the culprit. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
