Need Advice – Ahmedabad Court Appearance & BW Procedure in Cheque/Loan

25-May-2026 (In Recovery Law)
Hi everyone, I need some guidance regarding a cheque/loan-related case pending in Ahmedabad Magistrate Court. I was informed there may be a Bailable Warrant (BW) involved due to non-appearance. I am currently under severe financial stress and unable to arrange such a large amount. I wanted to understand: Can I appear before the court personally without an advocate?

Yes, you legally can appear personally before the Ahmedabad Magistrate Court without an advocate. However, because a Bailable Warrant (BW) has likely been issued due to your non-appearance, you must handle this carefully to avoid arrest.
