My brother in law n wife does not to repay 8 lakhs cheques cash n gold

Ornaments they told me to send legal notices which I did but not responding can I hold them for not replying

Even after sending legal notice, if you're brother in law and wife are not returning your amount and other valuables, you have the right to file a recovery suit in court and get the order in your favour
