Loan repayment issue with SBI credit card
18-Apr-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I'm being overcharged on my credit card. Despite raising the issue and proposing to pay the actual amount due, the company insists their charges are correct, keeps adding penalties, and is now threatening legal action and recovery at my home. My emails are ignored or met with repeated responses. I seek a fair resolution and waiver of unjust charges. What are the legal options available to me for a fair trial and negotiate to my terms with the SBI Credit Card company.
You have the right to dispute any unfair credit card charges. First, send a written complaint to SBI Cards’ Grievance Redressal Officer and escalate to the RBI Ombudsman if unresolved. You may also file a consumer complaint for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices, seeking relief including waiver of unjust charges and harassment damages. If legal threats or recovery at your home persists, a civil injunction suit can also be filed to restrain coercive recovery. I can assist you further with proper documentation and legal representation.
