lend money with interest to a person but no interest paid till 6months

lended Rs250000 to a person against his land and registered with mortgage deed for two years. Now six months have passed. He did not pay interest for three months. I'm afraid that he may return the principal or not. Plguide me how I can get my principal. Than q sir.
