I invested in real estate project and has invested 10 lac in pre launch. What is best possible to way to recoup money
You can file complaint of cheating against him for not handing over the possession. Also, you can send him a legal notice asking for payment of amount that you have paid to the builder. If the builder doesn't reply to the legal notice, you can file case before the consumer forum claiming for return of the amount along with compensation for delay and mental harassment.

You can send a notice/letter to the builder - developer asking for refund of the amount and cancellation of booking. if the builder developer does not return the money, subject to reasonable deductions (which may or may not be there), then, you can file a suit for recovey of money in the court of law.
