How to take money return back from friend , if he is denied

How to take money return back from friend , if he is denied to pay me and telling that he already give through cash , I have only bank statement that I send that money to him , in his account .

1. Issue a legal notice through an advocate 2. After 15 days follow up and ask for settlement 3. If there is no settlement, in that case go for summary ( with agreement) or recovery suit ( without agreement).
