you have any grievance against UrbanClap (now Urban Company) regarding deficiency of service, over-charging, non-refund or poor quality work, first raise a formal complaint through their official in-app support or website help section and keep screenshots of all communication. If the issue is not resolved, send them a written legal notice narrating the facts, amount involved and relief claimed. In case they still fail to redress your grievance, you may file a consumer complaint before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for refund, compensation and litigation cost. The complaint can be filed online through the e-Daakhil portal or physically before the commission having jurisdiction over your residence or the place of service. This legal remedy is effective in recovery and deficiency of service matters.
