How can I recover amount given to friend who gave three blank cheques

I gave money to one person with in friendship. He cheated me and up scanned from our village. But at the time of giving money i received 3 blank cheques from him. How could we recovery money from him.
You should enter the date in the cheque and present it for encashment. Even if he proves that the date was entered with your handwriting, the same shall not benefit him in any way as per the recent Supreme Court Judgement.
Thereafter if the cheque is returned (bounced), then it is mandatory to serve him a legal notice through a lawyer within 30 days. If he does not respond/ return your money within 15 days of receipt of the said notice, then you have 30 days to file a criminal complaint against him.
Further, you can file summary suit under Order 37 Rule 1 thereby demanding the suit amount alongwith interest @18%. You can file summary suit within a period of 3 years from the date of the cheque.
The time frame is important and has to be conferred to punctually.
