Hotel denied my check in after getting confirmation by yatra.

24-Apr-2023 (In Recovery Law)
HelloI booked 3N stay in Srinagar through Yatra.com and got the confirmation via email that its been confirmed. When i reached there with my wife that hotel denied my check in and said they dont partner with Yatra. I was clueless that time as I and my wife were at a place which is always at high alert and we had no place to go. As Kashmir have a on season for tourist so no hotel were available that time. We got a sub standard hotel for 3 times price for a day. And through this my whole trip got ruined. We paid extra for the cabs, hotels and everything. I got the refund of the hotel which denied my check in but i want to file a lawsuit against them. I had security issues over there. Please guide me if possible. Thank you

Yes…you can always file for compensation with the yatra company and the hotel you booked in Kashmir. Both are equally liable for the ruined trip you have suffered. You can send them a legal notice regarding your whole expenses and the mental harassment you faced. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Step 1- Consumer Court are filled with lots of load so do not make a hope for instant relief, be patient before filing the complaint. Step 2- File a Consumer Complaint against that site and that hotel, and ask for the compensation in return of the damages cost to you. Alongwith all the relevant bills and expenditure occurred to you because of their lack of service.
