Gave credit card to friend to make payment. Now he is not returning,

07-Nov-2023 (In Recovery Law)

I have given my credit card to my friend for making payment in June 2015 as he promised he will return money in 7days. Later I found he is not a good person & to take my money back I started follow up. But not get any payment. Later I told him as you are not making me any payment. Then you will have to pay interest on my credit card due amount. Because of my good record credit card company give me 3 months waiver for making payment. But for creating pressure. I told him you will have to pay interest & I calculated the interest on the basis of bank interest rate. Now it's November. How to get my money back?

Firstly, we would advice you to pay off your credit card dues to maintain a good credit record.
Now for making a recovery of the money lent to friend, you file a recovery suit in the concerned civil court and along with that lodge a criminal complaint under section 420 of cheating.
