friend cheated by taking money and giving cheque which has expired now

My friend demand rupeesfive lakh for his personal work and I given by rtjs, nifty and some cash for two months later he gaves 2 cheques of one lakh each one cheque cleared and for another he requested to don't drop for insufficient balance in his account his cheque period expired and he neither gives my remaining amount nor I have any evidence now before 2 months ago he posted me by whats aap that money invested in a cheat fund company and company cheated his application to police station but not submitted the application shows wrong content but correct my balance figures is this evidence
