Sound recordings qualify as electronic records which are admissible in Indian Court if they qualify Section 65B that states inter alia that the electronic device must be regularly employed for use and must be operating properly during recording. The qualifications are meant to ensure that the evidence adduced is genuine and free from any tampering. Thus you can use the sound recordings in the court.
