Father unable to return money case filed against son

Hi, My father has been doing finanice business and lost money by giving higher interest. I have never involved in this business. But, they filed case on me. What if court question me and what will be my role there.
Are you a director in the Company of your father or any other position you hold. If you hold a position of responsibility in the company then you are liable to pay the amount back and you can be a party in the case and have to defend yourself. And if you are not then you can file an application for Rejection of Suit as you are not involved with the business of your father.
