Father gave surety in a transaction now person asking father for money
31-Dec-2023 (In Recovery Law)
My father puts jamin signature (bail) in a transaction. The amount borrower is now going to get yellow notice. So the one who gave the money to the amount borrower is asking money with my father. But we are not in the situation to pay the amount. The amount of Rs.4,00,000/- was given to the borrower through cash after getting the signature from her (amount borrower) along with her daughter (age 21) and son (age 23). We don't have any document of her property with us and recently she sold her property. What should we do for it ? Her daughter got married now. We need your kind help in this.
As your father is not a grantor so he is not liable. They should have complete documents to make your father grantor.
