Demanding Money Against Committee

I started a committee of rs 200000 for 20 months having 20 persons. After 3 months I got this committee surrender for rs 170000. I signed with the date on receiving money. But I could not pay after that. Now the person is demanding the remaining money with penalty. He visits my home most frequently and asks for money. What should I do??
