Company did not pay 50% gratuity after resignation almost a year

After resignation company has given a clean chit relieving letter. But after 3-4 months of my resignation company found one of their consignment stockist had done frauding activity by not depositing VAT and issued F forms which were not valid at Sales Tax Dept.
The matter happened in the northern region where I was heading.
Company later in this context made me escape goat by holding my 50% gratuity money. How to recover the amount from the company for which i was not responsible ?

Gratuity is a retirement benefit from an employer to an employee and is a right of every retired employee. You can either approach the central administrative tribunal or file a recovery suit against the company.
