Co-operative society loan recovery

I, sarwar Jamal working in DJB and after joining I became member of co-operative society which provide loan max. 2 lakh. After one year A DJB employee named Sh. Jawahar Singh want to avail this facility of loan. Before it, he was already member of the same. But no person available at that time for sureties (gurantee dene ke liye) and at the same time we knew each other very well, my relation was also good with Sh. Jawar Singh, then Sh. Bidha singh and I, were became sureties for loan 2 lakh of for Sh. Jawahar Singh because of best relationship. After 6 month Sh. Jawahar Singh stop the EMI of Co-operative society. Resulting we are sent notice every month for Payment of your salary. I want to be free from this complexion, please advise as better to be free.
