Car’s key and documents recovery

Three years ago, one of my friends used my PAN, Aadhar, and bank details to take out a car loan to buy a second-hand car, which was registered in my name. At that time, he agreed to pay all the EMIs in advance with my consent. However, now he has been unable to pay the EMIs for the past two months. Because of this, I asked him to hand over the car documents and keys to me, but he has denied doing so. What can I do now?
