Can i get money back from my friend i lended without loan agreement

Sir, i have given my friend 2.5 lacs rupees for trading in stock market and he losed the money , i didnt wrote any agreement and i have only transactions proof and some whatsapp chats, one day after lending i said him that , we will success and fail together , so will this sentence become a trouble to me?
Please help me out sir.

Yes, you can file a suit for recovery against your friend. You can send a preliminary notice for recovery and then proceed with the suit. kindly do not discard the transaction proof and keep the WhatsApp extract saved incase need arises in your future dispute.
