Can banks disclose demographic and personal details to police

Hi, Can banks disclose personal and demographic details or financial details to police with mere police notices served to them? Do banks need a formal court order to disclose details of customer to police? profile ring customer information is it a legal duty of banks or is it just a casual requirement. Please can someone learned answer this question

Banks must disclose info under Section 91 CrPC (now BNSS 94) upon police notice. A court order isn't mandatory for valid investigations. KYC/profiling is a legal duty under PMLA/RBI rules, not optional.
