Borrowed fund from friend - threatening to give legal notice to parent

13-Aug-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I have borrowed 85k from my friend before 2 year, after that from Jan I was transferred 5k, 10k, 3k. Now current outstanding is 68k. After April I have not transferred him any amount because of financial difficulties. Now he is saying he will send legal notice to my parents, is this legal because my parents are not involved in this. And can I give him intimation that I will pay after 2 years.

A legal notice addressed to your parents is invalid because: - Legal notices must be addressed to the individual directly affected - Parents are not automatically liable for adult children's actions Thereafter, it would be better to connect and discuss about your matter.
