Are banks still required to send notice letters before posting notice at house after some default payments
once you have a npa account against your home loan account bank will issue a demand notice where they will ask you to pay the whole principal amount with interest, after receiving the demand notice you should get connected to a good lawyer and if you sit on it after some time they will issue a symbolic possession notice on your house....which I assume has already happened with you or your friend....
