After paying all the dues bank is harassing us still

I frequently get phone calls from axis bank for credit card that i took six years back. sometime they come to my residence as well. I have paid all their dues long back & even after six years I keep getting their phone calls etc. what can i do to stop it.
The RBI had framed guidelines on how debt can be recovered by the banks. A debt recovery suit needs to be filed to recover the debt amount. Banks cannot use threat calls to recover the debt. In case you are being harassed by the recovery agents then you need to make a police complaint.
