Witnesses to a Settlement Deed

My father in law in Kerala a Hindu wants to divide his coffee plantation 5.68 acres, an ancestral property of which he his now the sole owner to his married daughter and two sons via three different Settleme Deeds. Is it necessary or favourable that in each donee's deed the other two siblings sign as witness? Yes or No , state a valid reason.

No, it is not legally necessary for the other two siblings to sign as witnesses for a settlement deed to be valid. However, having the other siblings sign as witnesses is highly favorable to prevent future legal disputes regarding the property transfer.
