To transfer a Khata (or e-Khata) after the death of a wife who owned the property in Bengaluru, you must apply for a death mutation with the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) through the municipal office or the BBMP e-Aasthi Portal. The Khata does not update automatically upon death
