Who gets the ownership in case co-owned dies in the property

18-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)

We purchased a flat in cooperative housing society in the name of 3 owners (Father, Mother and Daughter). There is no mention of type of ownership in the agreement between builder and us. In case of demise of any one or two, do the survivor (s) automatically become the sole owner (s) ?

Answer to your query is yes. After demise of either owner rest two will automatically become the owner but both will have to inform the concerned authorities with death certificate. Still will have to go through the draft of the said agreement to advise you more clear and perfect.
