Whether the acquisition can be deemed as valid or not

We have holding record of municipality in our name. During K.B. operation in WB other persons recorded their name in BLLRO's record which is unknown to us. Spl. LAO awarded them and the property handed over to Govt. Organisation which comes to our notice recently. We assume that the awardees recorded their names in R.S. records of BLLRO. . The acquirement took place 50 years earlier. This is inherited property.How we can get compensation for the said property
Without going through the records and papers it is not possible to define any view in such type of matters. But if things are as per your query in that event you have the right to file case against the authority and also the person who has done wrong. But every thing depends upon the documents. As per the details provided by you I would say that ownership of property can be proved only through registered deed and Bllro or corporation records have nothing to deal with ownership it's merely possessory documents. So on basis of your registered deed you can file claim against the government and if compensation paid by government to third person it is their headache.

Land acquisition under L A Act , at the time you have stated, were effected either through LA Act I or LA Act Ii.But in both the cases prescribed were followed.In your case approach District LA Collector and put your issues before him.If no remedy is forthcoming,opt for writ petition against Govt authorities.For further instructions contact lawRato.
