What legal step to be taken if there is a property dispute

We have land of my grandfather at my native place, village in Maharashtra. Including my father they are 6 brothers. My father is no more. Only one of uncles and his son are living in that village. They are bringing some or the other reason to stop others from distributing or selling property. And they are enjoying all benefits of that land. We tried to give extra things to them but they want everything at negligible price. Me and my other uncles are settled in different cities so can not pay much attention. How can this be handled legally? Where can I go for solution? Can I alone file complain to put stay on property until the final distribution? How much it will cost approximately? What is general process after filing complain legally? I want to go ahead with this step as I am left with no option and not getting any benefit of my own property.
You can file a suit
If the property value is as high as 1 crore, you can file a suit in the high court. There is no stay procedure needed in your case uptil now. Kindly give more details forbsuitable remedy
