what is the process to cancel a gift deed-nEven if both the parties agree to cancel-should the same be cancelled through court.nis there a process that the gift deed can be cancelled in sub register office?
hai.. once the gift deed is executed and accepted by donee. it can't be cancelled. The only option available is through court. If both Donar and Donee are ready to cancel. can file the suit before competent court and can cancel it

any gift that is made and accepted by the donee is final and cannot be revoked later on. The process of cancellation of gift deed involves a suit being filed by the donor in court. However, there may be circumstances where the conditions put in gift deed are not fulfilled by the donee. In such a case, donor can revoke the gift deed. However, he/she will be required to visit the court for the same.
