What are the rights of daughters on ancestral property

02-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
My religion is Sikh. , I have 5 sisters and i am the only male sibling and all my sisters are married. since my father died in 1972 they have no rights in my father's ancestral property. But in the jamabandi of the property it shows equal share with my sisters. Two of my sister has already transfer their share to me. one of my sister had filed a case in court to get her 1/6 share. How can i get the whole property transfer to me and get my sisters share removed from the jamabandi ?

In your matter you can get a relinquished deed in favour of your name regarding their share in the property. Whether your sister to get her share or not will depend whether your father has mentioned in the will regarding their share. If they agree to relinquish you can approach the revenue authority for removal of name of your sister from jamabandi
