We have been assigned a wrong khasra number by patwari

08-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
About 12 years ago, we had purchased a land from a neighbor. But we recently found out that patwari has assigned wrong khasra no, to us. The documents of that neighbour's khasra no. are with us and our khasra no. documents are with the neighbour. In short khasra no. have been exchanged because of patwari's mistake. Neighbour is cooperative and so are we. But the administration is saying that you both have to make new paperwork. How to approach it through section 152? And how much time would it

entries in revenue records can be corrected by a Sub-Divisional Officer, Tahsildar, Revenue Inspector, or Collector. The correction can be made to the record of rights (Khatauni), field book (Khasra), or map. The Collector must pass an order to correct the map
