we are co- owners of the property can I sell my part of property ?

I wanted to know if a property is divided between sister as younger sister is given ground floor and elder is given 1st floor and second floor not divided and taken on equal rents at this position if elder want to sell her share property without younger is it possible. can you assist me with this. pls.

Dear concerned,
It is possible to sell a divided share to a third party. In your case, your portion can be sold off by you at the first floor. However, since the second floor is not partitioned physically, the said portion cannot be sold.

Hi
If the property is not partitioned you may sell your undevided share and the buyer will step into your shoes and may seek partion at a later date.The fact that other co owner is not available is not an impediment.
