Was advised to purchase property on GPA how to protect from fraud

Dear Sir, Madam, i am contacted by a local builder through property site, they have a land and will construct 4 floor's building since registry is not available in that area so i was advised to purchase on GPA. as of now they are only collecting booking amount. Is there any way I can make sure and protect against any fruad.

To prevent yourself from any fraud kindly look into contents of general power of attorney without looking into contents of GPA you cannot be sure about for which purpose The Power of Attorney has been made in your name.

dear sir GPA is not a reliable source if it is not registered. To avoid fraud your side u have to get the previous chain of GPA .
Also you have to notify in newspapers regarding this . Rest is advise when u contact the lawyer and he will go through the document.
