Want to claim the share of my mother in father's property

04-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Sir, I am from delhi. I need legal advice regarding my fathers property. My father's behaviour towards the family is not good. Even my mothers in-laws treat us poorly. when my grandmother died she left some property for my father and his siblings The property is now a joint property. The thing is we want to sell our share of property. the only source of income right now is the rent coming from the house. We want to sell it in order to have enough funds for me and my sister's higher education but my mother's in-laws are not letting us do it. The question is there any legal way in which we can sell our property also since my mom is not working and me and my sister are still studying is there any way that we could continue to get alimony part of our property and monthly alimony after divorce of my mother and father.
