Villagers broke our boundary for road widening what can I do
20-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
We are staying in a village. Some villagers want to make the road wide. So they are forcefully broke our boundary wall & using our land for Road. As per the Map road has to get wider on the other side of our land. But knowingly they are taking our land & without any permission they broke our wall also. SO kindly guide us how I can fight against such illegal activity in legal ways. Waiting for your valuable & positive response
You can file a FIR before teh Police Station. But its quite natural and I apprehend that the FIR will not be registered. But first take step in that direction and so also you can file a Civil Suit. You can also give representations to the Collector and Tahasildar of your respective area/block/District.
