UP Apartment act- Who is authorized to sign the Cheque................

Please confirm as per UP Apartment Act is this necessary that Secretary for more than any expense of Rs.2500 payments needs to be made thru Cheque, which should be compulsory signed by Secretary of the society.

Please be informed there is no such law untill and unless it is said in the Model- By laws of your society.
UP Apartments Act 2010 does not specify such condition.
