unregistered Family Panchayat Palupatti deed information
02-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
My father and his two brothers made an unregistered Family Panchayat Palupatti deed in 1990 and It was only notarized. According to this deed, my dad inherited some land which was in my grandfather name and the other two brothers did not inherit anything.
In 2011, my dad sold some portion to my mother and to his friend. My dad id also getting (Holder) on BBMP tax payed receipt.
Now, one of my father's brother and his son are challenginging it now. He is also telling that he did not sign the unregistered Family Panchayat Palupatti deed.
What can I do?? any help??
At present as the property is sold and as they have to make the persons who purchased the property also a party to the suit, further as they do not have possession and they have to pay heavy court fees, further it can be said that the property was sold for family necessity for when all of them were residing jointly and your father was managing everything, hence the case will be dismissed. hence if they file a case just engage a good lawyer and proceed with the case.
